Conditions of Hire of Premises

1. The premises are available for hire, subject to approval of the Head of Centre and/or the Management Committee
2. The person hiring the premises must be in attendance and personally responsible for the premises and persons present during the hire period
3. The rooms must be treated in a REASONABLE manner
4. The person hiring the premises is advised to check the building before usage and again on completion of the hire period. Any damage to the premises, fittings, equipment or furnishings during the letting period will be charged to the hirer
5. Please ensure your booking includes sufficient time for setting up and clearing up. If we are prevented from locking up at the agreed time a £50 penalty will be imposed, deductible from your deposit
6. The function MUST CEASE by 11.30pm and the premises vacated by Midnight on Saturday. Out of respect to our neighbours, we ask you leave the premises quietly
7. A refundable deposit of £100 is requested at time of booking. The deposit will only be returned if the premises are left in a clean condition and there are no breakages or damage. In which case the deposit in part or as a whole will be used to pay for extra cleaning, repair or replacement at the discretion of the Head of Centre and/or the Management Committee
8. The premises must be left in a clean condition with all rubbish removed from the premises and placed in the bins provided in the car park by perimeter fence
9. The balance is due 6 weeks before the date of hire. In the event of cancellation, after this period, 50% of the deposit will be returned
10. Minimum hire period is 2 hours
11. There is a NO SMOKING policy throughout the building
12. The right of hire is reserved
